At TED Izmir College Middle School, TED English Education Program specific to TED schools is applied. In this direction, in the English language education given by Turkish and foreign teachers, students' linguistic and critical thinking skills are developed in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Language acquisition is a spiral structure and proceeds step by step. Students who have acquired basic language skills gradually develop these skills. In this context, in our foreign language program, four language skills; Listening, Spoken Interaction, Spoken Production, Reading and Writing are given equal weight.

In our curriculum, the sub-achievements of the four language skills in different fields are also included. Grammar education is given as part of other skills, without being segregated until you reach high school level. In our school, our students are supported by one-on-one studies by their teachers when they need them.

In addition to international publications, TED-specific printed and visual materials are also used in the courses. At the same time, 21st century skills such as Critical Thinking, Communication Skill, Collaboration Skill and Creative Thinking Skill are integrated into our program. It is also aimed that students obtain internationally recognized certificates (TOEFL Primary&Junior).
