Academic Career Counseling at TED Izmir College

At TED Izmir College High School, academic career counselling is carried out through two different branches. Firstly, a vocational orientation test is applied to all our students as of Grade 10 and our students are guided to the fields and professions suitable for them. As of Grade 10, academics from the leading universities of our country and our city and our parents from different professional groups are invited as speakers within the scope of Career Days, which are traditionally organised every year. Our students who want to continue their education in the country participate in the Academic Support Courses opened in our school as of the 11th grade and do intensive TYT- AYT studies for two years. Our students also have the opportunity to get to know universities closely through academic trips to universities in and out of the city. In addition, within the framework of co-operation with Izmir Institute of Technology and Izmir University of Economics, they can benefit from the education and training areas of these schools and carry out joint projects. Our school supports students' participation in national and international science competitions.
