Dear Collegians

High school years are marked in our memories as the last childhood and first youth years on the road to life. We share the sweetest moments of our youth with our high school friends and teachers. On the other hand, we prepare for a challenging exam and make the most important decisions that shape our future in high school.

That is why high school is both a challenging and an extremely enjoyable and unforgettable period.

Dear Prep and 9th grade students! Welcome to high school! This year, as a member of TED Izmir College and the Turkish Education Association, you will prepare for the processes that await you academically in the most equipped way, while taking very important steps towards knowing and realizing yourself in social, artistic and sporting terms.

Dear Grade 10 students! We look forward to seeing you back at school as individuals who have grown up one more year, who know themselves much better, who are academically strong individuals, and we emphasize that we will work very hard together this year, when you will make a very important decision about your future and choose the field you want to study at university.

Dear Grade 11 students! Time is passing quickly and we are approaching the exam year. On the one hand, we will build the academic infrastructure for the next year and on the other hand, we will support you in making very important decisions about your life.

Dear 12th grade students! With the excitement of starting a busy yet enjoyable year, we will be with you all the way through all your processes both in Turkey and abroad. At the end of this year, you will graduate from TED Izmir College High School, which you entered four or five years ago, as young people with "free minds and free consciences" and be sent off to your universities. We are waiting for you with excitement.

Dear Collegians!

School is not only an area where academic education is provided, but also an institution that deeply affects people's lives, personalities, perspectives and existence. We are blessed to be part of a non-governmental organization that has been in existence since 1928 and has been established for ninety-four years. As a member of an organization that has been following the path paved by our great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk for ninety-four years with its efforts to make life meaningful, with its great contributions to education, and in this context, as a member of an organization that aims to raise young people who are "free of thought, free of conscience" in the schools it has opened, never forget that it is a debt to protect the values entrusted to you!

As all members of the TED family, who believe that human beings are the most valuable asset, love is the most skillful power, knowledge is the most invincible force, labor is the supreme value, education is the most indispensable contribution, and that beauty begins with loving our children, we are happy to start the new academic year.
I am proud to work as an educator in a great institution with a deep-rooted culture based on contemporary, scientific and universal values with the vision of "raising generations that will change the future, not predict it" and I am excited to share the beauties of our children together under this roof.

Believing that today's learners are tomorrow's leaders, TED Schools have the privilege of being an institution that is equipped to provide our children with a quality education where "education is for the learner, education is for the future, and education is for education".

The academic development of our children is carried to the level of competence and they are supported by a strong academic staff and a strong academic program at all stages of their educational journey from pre-school to university, which will enable them to reach skills from knowledge, skills from knowledge, and competence from skills.

Individual skills, which are as indispensable as academic development, are developed with the content required by each age level, and our children are guided to grow up with the necessary educational programs so that they grow up as individuals who are self-confident, have high social adaptability, have developed communication skills, and have reached a level of consciousness that can benefit themselves, their environment, society and the world.

In today's world, where many changes are taking place, with the awareness that these changes may continue in the future; we continue the education of our students with programs that will raise individuals who can keep up with change and even anticipate changes and create strategic plans for new situations.
I wish to celebrate many successes together in the educational journeys of our children born to technology, where they integrate science and technology with universal values, have high skills to keep up with change, are contemporary, rational and productive, protect Atatürk's Principles and Reforms and the values of their country, recognize, know and respect world values, and grow up as world leaders.

TED College is a learning environment that encourages students to explore themselves and the world around them from near and far, supports their well-rounded development, where they can research, observe and examine, learn together, feel safe and happy, and come with love.

In our school; With P4C, Values Education and Positive Behavior Model, we encourage students to take responsibility for their learning, to take responsibility for their behavior, to respect differences, to be aware of social and universal problems and to produce solutions to these problems. We support many different programs such as Forest School Project, Permaculture studies and encourage our students to protect nature and serve the society in different fields.
