High School Studies
Guidance and psychological counseling services at the high school level; it is carried out in order to evaluate the individual characteristics of the student and establish a healthy identity, adapt to the changes in adolescence, recognize its values and connect its values and social values, gain efficient, systematic and planned working habits, and focus on higher education, profession and business areas in line with career goals.
Studies for Our Students Orientation Studies: School adaptation studies are carried out with the participation of new students at the beginning of each year. Student Recognition Studies Inventories: They are studies that are carried out to get to know our students in many ways. Learning Styles Inventory, Work Behavior Assessment Inventory, Exam Anxiety Inventory, Benego Occupational Selection Test, Holland Professional Orientation Inventory are among the inventories applied. Individual Interviews: In addition to getting to know our student better, individual support is given in terms of friendship relations, study methods, exam anxiety and exam preparation techniques, time management, motivation, conflict and solutions, domestic communication, targeting and decision-making processes, and coping with peer pressure. Guidance Courses: Performed by PDR specialists at certain intervals; - Efficient Study Techniques - Exam Anxiety and Motivation - Addiction Prevention - Career Planning - Courses covering topics such as Target and Career Selection. Preparatory Studies for YKS: Information about the exam process, academic development follow-up, support studies on the targeted working system are carried out in cooperation with the Consultant – Student-PDR. Professional Guidance Studies University and Professional Promotion: In order to shed light on the target selection, activities are organized where students are brought together with universities and the professional staff they are curious about and academicians. Professional Shadow: The professions targeted as a profession in the period take place in the working environment as the shadow of the relevant professional employee. University Promotional Trips: Our students; to help them clarify their goals, to increase their motivation, to help them visit the universities they want and aim to visit on site and to observe the university environment, about professions, about teaching members, about life in the university and university; trips to help university students in the promotional unit get information. Parent-Oriented Studies Individual Interviews: Domestic communication, boundaries, parental and adolescent communication are academic issues.
