Ted Izmir College Elementary School implements the TED English Education Program specific to TED Schools. Accordingly, in English language education given by Turkish and foreign teachers, the language and critical thinking skills of the students are developed in line with the European Framework for Common Languages.

Language acquisition is spiral and proceeds step by step. Students who have acquired basic language skills gradually develop these skills. Four language skills in our foreign language program; Listening, Spoken Interaction, Spoken Production, Reading, and Writing are given equal weight.

In our foreign language program, studies are carried out on the sub-gains of four language skills in different fields. Grammar education is given as part of other skills, without being parsed until they reach high school level. In addition, our students are supported by one-on-one studies by their teachers when they need it.

In addition to international publications, TED-specific printed and visual materials are also used in the courses. 21st century skills such as "Critical Thinking", "Communication", "Collaboration" and "Creativity" are integrated to achieve competence in the field of language.
