Preparation and 9. Class Register Process

REGISTRATION WITH LGS

TED Izmir College Anatolian High School Preparatory and 9th grade students are accepted with LGS.  LGS Admission percentiles and scholarship rates are announced following the announcement of the exam results of that year. Candidates who are eligible for admission to our school according to the LGS score are given an appointment for the observation and interview to be made by TED Schools PDR experts and teachers; exam, interview and observation results are evaluated and the student Register The right information is notified to the parent and the parent is final Register are invited to the school for their procedures.  

TED SCHOOLS REGISTRATION WITH ENTRANCE EXAM

Candidates who will apply to our school with the TED Schools Entrance Exam are invited to the school for the exam by the school student affairs officer. Students are required to bring their Portfolio Files* with them when coming to the exam. Candidates whose exam scores and portfolio evaluations are positive are given an appointment for observation and interview to be made by TED Schools PDR experts and teachers; exam, portfolio, interview and observation results are evaluated and the student Register The right information is notified to the parent and the parent is final Register are invited to the school for their procedures.

Portfolio File Contents:

  •  Transcript: Transcript: It is an approved document obtained from the e-school system by the school directorate showing the year-end, 8th grade/end-of-year grades of the 5th, 6th and 7th grade levels of the candidate student applying from the country.
  • Self-Introduction Article: The prospective student prepares a paper of at least 500 words explaining himself, his family, his hobbies, his developed and developmental areas, a problem he solves or wants to solve, the things he loves and does not like, his thoughts and goals about his future, his expectations of high school life, why he prefers TED Izmir College Anatolian High School.
  • Reference Letter: They are letters prepared by 2 teachers from the school where the prospective student is studying and delivered in a closed envelope with letterhead.
  • Documents related to Community Service Studies: The student's; social responsibility activities, duties, studies, competitions and stamped/sealed and signed documents documenting the degrees he has participated in.
  • Art, Culture, Sports and Science File: The student's; documents documenting their talents in the fields of fine arts, dance, music and theatre, their achievements in sports and science, and their participation in cultural events. Examples of work, certificates of achievement, sports licenses, awards or other documents that he participated in events such as national or international competitions and festivals constitute the contents of the file.
 

10TH CLASS REGISTRATION PERIOD

Prospective students for the 10th grade will take the TED Schools Student Entrance Exam. Students who succeed in the TED Schools Student Entrance Exam are directed to the TED Schools Foreign Language Proficiency Exam that will determine their English language suitability. Students are required to bring their Portfolio Files* with them when coming to the exam. Candidates whose exam scores and portfolio evaluations are positive are given an appointment for observation and interview to be made by TED Schools PDR experts and teachers; exam, portfolio, interview and observation results are evaluated and the student Register The right information is notified to the parent and the parent is final Register are invited to the school for their procedures.
